Great food and a good selection of wines compliment the serene and tranquil ambience created at Emily's Restaurant and Sundowner Deck, found at the Emily Moon River Lodge on the outskirts of Plettenbergbay in the Western Cape. This prego roll was really tasty, accompanied by a refreshing salad. Also try the chicken livers. Yum!








The most famous & popular restaurant in Plettenberg Bay is Cornutti Al Mare, where the pizza's cannot be faulted. Get there ealy, especially during the holiday periods to avoid waiting for hours for a table. The views (both from the restaurant and within it) are spectacular. Casual designer brands are essential here!







Great food, great concept - the esteemed Ile de Pain on Knysna's Thesen Island is not only a great place for a good meal, but also has the best bakery products in town, all made on site. this fillet steak on rye bread was grilled to perfection. The starters and fish cakes were also delicious. But leave space for the decadent deserts...
